Hey there, I think you have fun idea with this high speed character but I had quite a struggle with platforming due to it. The camera doesn't show enough of the level, so the slope jumps had me aiming to land somewhere I couldn't see, taking a leap of faith. The character also feels very sensitive, for example when I jump, it almost launches me through the level (same goes for the dash). So, it becomes hard to react and land on platforms.
If you are going for a high speed character, I think all you need is to tweak some values around the character and you can make something fun out of it!
This is some very helpful insight, and I will definitely be taking all of this in to account. The gameplay is meant to be very quick, but I agree that the dash is too strong. While there isn’t much I can do for the jump, I hope moving the camera further away to show more of the level will help.
thank you for bringing these issues to light, as they would be far worse in the actual levels, especially with the diagonal gravity. (Which will be an optional hard mode)
